Last Saturday evening on March 11th 2023 a car that lost control on the 401 caused a major crash involving several vehicles at the Islington Avenue interchange. Witness reports coming from occupants of a car just ahead of the collision brought details to light when explaining a car initially swerved and lost control before a tractor trailer jackknifed and crashed into a concrete jersey barrier trying to avoid the smaller vehicle.
